In celebration of World Teachers' Day, the Organisasyong Salinlahi of the Senior High School Department organized a lively and meaningful Sabayang Pagbigkas competition on October 1, 2024 showcasing the talent and creativity of Grade 11 and 12 students. The event, held in the Fr. McSherry Gymnasium was the organization's special way of paying tribute to the teachers, recognizing their invaluable contributions to education and society.
Various sections from Grades 11 and 12 participated, delivering powerful and synchronized performances that not only displayed their mastery of Filipino poetry but also embodied themes of respect, gratitude, and admiration for teachers. Each group, with its unique interpretation and presentation, impressed the audience with their energy, unity, and heartfelt expression.
The competition was judged based on criteria such as coordination, clarity, emotion, and overall impact. Teachers and students alike were captivated by the dynamic performances, which filled the venue with an air of reverence for the teaching profession.
The event concluded with a short ceremony honoring the teachers, where the winners of the competition were announced, adding to the excitement of the day.
