Three JHS Clubs; the Earth Movers Club, TLE Club, and ELITE Club came together for a coastal clean-up drive and showed a remarkable display of community service on May 4, 2024 at Aroma Beach in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
This joint endeavor aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the coastal ecosystem and to address the growing concern of marine debris. Dedicated officers and members from the three clubs tirelessly combed through the shoreline, removing an array of waste materials that pose a threat to the marine life and the natural beauty of the beach. The volunteers meticulously collected plastic bottles, food wrappers, fishing nets, and other debris, making a significant impact on the cleanliness of the beach.
The collective effort of the Earth Movers Club, TLE Club, and ELITE Club not only resulted in a cleaner beach but also served as a beacon of hope, inspiring others in the community to take action in preserving the environment. This act of unity and dedication showcased the power of community involvement in addressing environmental challenges.
