A total of 46 Grade 6 students from Divine Word College of San Jose (DWCSJ) and nearby private and public elementary schools took the Qualifying Test for the Special Science Curriculum Program (SSCP) in preparation for the upcoming School Year 2025-2026.
This qualifying examination was conducted simultaneously nationwide in adherence to DepEd Memorandum No. 124, s. 2025, which outlines the admission procedures for Grades 1, 7, and 11 in schools implementing specialized science programs, including the Special Science Elementary School (SSES), Science Technology and Engineering (STE) Program, and Special Science Class for Elementary and Secondary Levels.
The program aims to provide an advanced learning environment for students with strong aptitudes in science, mathematics, and technology, equipping them with skills necessary for future academic and career success in STEM-related fields.
DWCSJ remains committed to fostering excellence in science education and looks forward to welcoming the next batch of Special Science students who will carry the legacy of innovation and academic distinction.
