San Jose, February 20, 2024: Today, Divine Word College of San Jose (DWCSJ) welcomed eager young minds as part of its grand celebration for its 79th Founding Anniversary through a special event dubbed "Lakbay Aral."
Organized by the Student Affairs Central Board (SACB), the Lakbay Aral initiative aimed to acquaint grade 6 pupils from various local elementary schools, including Mother Caterina School, San Jose Pilot Elementary School, Pagasa Central Elementary School, San Roque 1 Elementary School, and San Roque 2, with the vibrant spirit and educational offerings of DWCSJ.
Led by Dr. Jason Valera and Ma'am Pinky Pagayonan, alongside the dedicated support of grade 7 advisers and Sir Leo Pablo, the event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the visiting pupils. Excitement filled the air as the pupils embarked on a comprehensive tour around the school premises.
During the tour, the Future Divinians had the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities and witness firsthand the diverse academic programs and extracurricular activities offered by DWCSJ. From modern classrooms to well-equipped laboratories, the pupils were introduced to the conducive learning environment fostered within the institution.
The Lakbay Aral initiative not only provided valuable insights into DWCSJ's educational landscape but also fostered camaraderie and collaboration among learners and educators alike. Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, the visiting pupils gained a deeper appreciation for the institution's rich history and commitment to academic excellence.
