Last December 2, 2023, twenty-three (23) Grade school pupils, and nine (9) Junior High School students received their First Holy Communion at DWCSJ Chapel. Fr. Conrado S. Alvarez, SVD administered the celebration. Grade 3 Adviser, Ma'am Mary An J. Ladao, together with the Grade School and some Junior High School faculty members guided the students.

The Holy Communion is one of the Seven Sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church. This event commemorates the generous acts of Jesus towards his disciples. As 1 Corinthians 11:26 tells, "For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."
