Divine Word College of San Jose in commemorating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary held triduum masses from September 5 to 7 at the DWCSJ Main Chapel every 4:30 pm. Students, teachers, and commisionaries were all encouraged to attend.

To celebrate the 147th year of the Society of the Divine Word or SVD, a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Balangkas ng Misyon Exhibition was held on the second day of the triduum masses.

According to Sir Johnzell S. Capacia a campus ministry clerk, who prepared the liturgy for these masses, these events follow the dogma of the Catholic church - "to celebrate in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary."
