Last August 30-31 2022, The Divine Word College of San Jose, Junior High School Department celebrated their Buwan ng Wika 2022 with the theme: "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at Paglikha."

The first day started with the contests: designing Filipino clothes, poem & essay writing, quiz bee, and poster-making. Contestants in fashioning Filipino clothes, poem writing, and essay writing occupied the Basic Education Library, while the quiz bee and poster-making contests settled in the DWCSJ Function Hall. The program proper, photo booth, and awarding ceremonies were scheduled on the event's last day.

As soon as the opening of classes, the Filipino Club officials immediately called a meeting with their moderator to discuss their first activity for the school year 2022-2023. In collaboration with the Arts and Photography Club the preparation took two long weeks, but the outcome went rather smoothly.

"Nakakapagod, nakakastress pero sobrang saya magprepare kasi ngayong year nalang ulit nagka face-to-face contests sa Buwan ng Wika, dami ko rin natutuhan throughout the preparation" Jullienne Mari Dela Rosa the Filipino Club's President shared.
