Senior High School Department celebrated Science Week last July 18-19 and July 23 as the last day of the celebration, with the theme, "Science for the People, Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development".
Students were encouraged to join to the different contests and activities prepared by the Science Club Organization like Quiz Bee, Science Trivia, E-lesson, Poster making, Essay Writing, Adventure Game, Slime Making and Science Magic, including Film Viewing and Exhibit for all the students.
STEM Students from grade 11 and 12 attended the symposium with Mr. Dane Christian Morena, former President of the Science Club Organization, as the invited speaker.
During the last day of the celebration, a short program was held at 1:30 in the afternoon at Fr. Mc Sherry Gymnasium.
The program started with an opening prayer led by Quennie Valerie Santos, the Science Club Organization Treasurer, followed by the opening remarks of Rashmin Lemor Driza, President of the Science Club Organization.
In the program, ABCD-Game was participated by students of Senior High School Department.
The highlight of the event was the Search for the Best Recycled Dress.
Awarding of winners in the contests took place. ABM-12 Strand won the Best Recycled Dress and Tyrone Prix Zaraspe as their class model.
Mikaela Louisse Torreliza, the Science Club Organization Secretary delivered the closing remarks while Christian Jayvee Poso led the closing prayer.
The event was hosted by Azer Alexis John Gallano, a student from the Senior High School Department.
The Science Week Celebration ended successfully, through the cooperation of all the students, headed by the Science Club Organization, Mrs. Josephine Bautista and Ms. Imarie Dablo, the Science Club Moderators.
