Senior High School student leaders attended a Spiritual Leadership officiated by the school's Guidance Office on August 16 at Fr. Mc Sherry Gymnasium. The purpose of this was for the students to embrace and uphold the leadership of Jesus.

Registration started at 7:30 in the morning. Program proper began with a prayer led by Mr. Lester Tampico, a college student Peer Counselor and the singing of our National Anthem. It was followed by an Opening Remarks of Ms. Maureen Pearl Tabirao, School Psychometrician and trailed by an intermission number from Ms. Lyra Orsos.

Rev. Fr. Nonito Gallego, SVD, VP for Finance, as the seminar's resource speaker, shared his life experiences with the young leaders as he gave the steps on how to become an effective leader inspired by Jesus. An open forum, group games and activities followed.

In the afternoon, students were divided into four groups for Team Building. Different stations with different activities managed to challenge every group on how they would finish their task as they discovered lessons and realizations from it. After the Team Building, young leaders were asked to share the qualities that a leader must have. According to them, an effective leader must possess discipline, trust, commitment and understanding. Results of the Team Building activity was given during the short awarding ceremony together with some group and individual awards.

The Spiritual Leadership Seminar ended successfully with the cooperation of the students, College Peer Counselors and Guidance Staff. The seminar ended with a prayer and the closing remarks of Mr. Chris Ranlee Amarila, SCC President.
