OSA pushes weekly Coastal Cleanup Drive

Office of the Students Affairs pushed the weekly coastal cleanup drive of the student leaders of Junior High School, Senior High School, until the College Departments. The covered venue of the said environment activity is from Dap-ayan to Parisian Hotel, Aroma Beach, scheduled every Friday or Saturday.

The said office posted the schedule of weekly coastal cleanup for a sustainable environmental movement. For the first Friday or Saturday of the month the organizations that are responsible for the activity are: College Student Council; Red Cross Youth Club; BSHM departmental officers and DHATO and; clubs from LEMMA, Bakas, Science, D' Artisan, TLE, and History. The second Friday or Saturday are attended by the Teacher Education Department together with its organizations, Young Educators Club and Scinergist; The Pioneer Publication; Peer Facilitator Organization; Student Coordinating Council; and the different clubs and organizations from the JHS and SHS department such as Catalysts, Math, Sports and the Divine Lens. The third Friday or Saturday is for: BSA Department together with its organization, Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants; College Sports Club; Ministry of Altar Servers; Organisasyong Salinlahi; Ang Divine Lens; Student Affairs Central Board and; Filipino club. The fourth Friday or Saturday is allocated for: BSIT and BSBA Departments together with their respective organizations, DATA and JFINEX; Meraki; SHS RCYC; SHS Sports Club; Elite and; We-Search. Lastly, for the fifth Friday or Saturday, Refrain Music Club; Rotaract and; SHS and JHS Interact are scheduled.

The student leaders consisted of student councils, clubs, organizations, co-curricular and departmental officers accompanied by their respective moderators for guidance and supervision.

Embracing the quote of, "A little effort towards saving the environment is better than no effort", OSA aimed to unite the student leaders towards the goal of environmental consciousness for a sustainable activity in preserving and beautifying one of San Jose's destinations for locals, the Aroma Beach.
