Exceptional students from the Divine Word College of San Jose showcased their mathematical prowess at the Heat Round Thailand International Mathematics Olympiad, one of them clinching a prestigious silver medal (Vince Riel Casin). These remarkable individuals further distinguished themselves by earning three bronze medals (Harvey Blue Garcia, Dane Joseph De Dios and John Christer Maderazo) and two merit awards (Fiona Perez and Adhara Sofia Pablo), reflecting their comprehensive excellence in various facets of mathematical challenges.
In parallel, another outstanding student (Vaughn Xavier Reguyal) demonstrated his scientific acumen by securing a silver medal at the Hong Kong International Science Olympiad. This achievement not only underscores his commitment to scientific exploration but also highlights his ability to excel on a national stage.
The aforementioned students received their awards at the AFP Tejeros Hall, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on January 21, 2024.
