Today, we honor not only the bravery of the Filipino heroes who fought and sacrificed their lives for our nation's freedom but also the unsung heroes who go above and beyond for the betterment of our country, especially amid this pandemic.

We must draw lessons from the heroes of history while the heroes of today act as beacons of hope for a brighter tomorrow.
