In a spirited effort to raise awareness and foster creativity in addressing the critical issue of violence against women, a captivating contest was held, inviting participants to engage in the art of slogan-making and poster design. The competition aimed to encourage the community to unite in the fight against violence, with the overarching theme of "United for a VAW-Free Philippines."

The Slogan Making Contest brought forth a burst of creativity and ingenuity as participants sought to encapsulate the spirit of unity and resilience in the face of gender-based violence. Nine participating schools were challenged to distill powerful messages into a few impactful words that could resonate with a diverse audience. The entries were a testament to the depth of understanding and empathy within the community, with slogans ranging from poignant calls to action to uplifting messages of solidarity.

The winning slogan, "Say Enough to Violence, Support Women's Rights, Eliminate Gender Divide, Today we join the Fight", from Althea Grace J. Pastores, a Senior High School, emerged as a beacon of hope, reflecting the collective determination to break the silence surrounding violence against women and create a harmonious society. Ms. Patores did not only received accolades but also became a diplomat for the cause, spreading the message far and wide.

The Poster Design Contest added a visual dimension to the campaign, allowing artists to convey the urgency of the cause through compelling visuals. The theme served as a canvas for artists to depict strength, resilience, and the power of collective action. The posters became powerful tools for advocacy, encouraging conversations and challenging societal norms.

The entry from Raenne Janssen N. Advincula from the Junior High School did not secure the top position but continued to play a vital role in the broader campaign. His artworks along with the other entries became catalysts for change, inspiring conversations, and challenging societal norms. Displayed in various community spaces and shared across social media platforms, the posters served as poignant reminders of the ongoing struggle against violence, inviting others to join the movement.

The slogan-making and poster design contest proved to be a resounding success, not just in celebrating creativity but also in contributing to a vital societal conversation. Through powerful slogans and evocative posters, the campaign succeeded in uniting voices against violence and creating a shared vision for a Violence Against Women-Free Philippines. The winners, along with all participants, played a crucial role in fostering awareness and driving positive change, leaving an indelible mark on the journey towards a safer and more equitable society.
