DWCSJ kicks off new year with fun run

As part of the celebration of DWCSJ's 58th and 73rd founding anniversary, students and alumni of Divine Word College of San Jose participated in a fun run to kick off the start of a new year of being an educational institution, February 9, 2018.

Jennette Noronha, a Grade 9 student, and John Lord Itliong, a Grade 12 student, won the championships in the students' bracket, girls and boys respectively. In second place was Jeanne Ong and Jeremiah Flores , grade 9 and grade 12 students respectively, followed by Aljoie Dimalaluan and Rexon Delos Santos, a Grade-12 student and a college student in third place. In the Employees' Category, Ms. Jane Ong won the championship followed by Mrs. Melinda Naoe and Ms. Ana Mae Tividad in second and third place.

Participants ran from DWCSJ's front gate to St. Padre Pio Dormitory for the girls and Maranatha Christian Academy for the boys.

The fun run was facilitated by select members of DWCSJ's alumni association.
