For two years, the Divine Word College of San Jose (DWCSJ) has been steering the Divine Got Talent to unveil the privy talents of Divinians from Grade School to College Department.
After passing the auditions, Bracket A contenders from Grade School to Grade Eight namely: Troy's Angels, Serenity X, Alessandra Alvaran, The Chosen One, Secret Singers, Perry Mark Zapeda and Hainz Gabriel Palasigue and Bracket B contenders from Grade Nine to College videlicet: Unsettled, Catherine Eder, Steven Coloscos, Cotton Band, Yiannu Mikael Tibayan, Missed Universe and Flight mode participate for the Divine Got Talent (DGT) Season 2 the last February 8, 2018, 6:30 p.m. at Fr. McSherry Gymnasium.
All the contestants as well as the Central Board, Student Affairs Central Board, Student Coordinating Councils and College Student Council officers were given certificates.
Alessandra Alvaran was hailed as the champion for the Bracket A, followed by Hainz Gabriel Palasigue and Perry Mark Zapeda, correspondingly. In Bracket B, spots were clinched by Yiannu Mikael Tibayan, Catherine Eder and Steven Coloscos, respectively. Contestants who were not lucky to claim the victory also received consolation prizes.
Marked as one of the annual activities undertaken every founding anniversary celebration, the primary aim of the event was to encourage students to flaunt their talents and boost their self-confidence and competence.
